  Method of application:

1)Combine one egg yolk, one tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of olive oil with half a cup of oatmeal.

2)Mix well, then apply it on your face for 15-20 minutes.

  3)Rinse with cool water.

3) Homemade banana face mask for a glowing complexion

This tropical revitalizing face mask will leave your skin looking healthy and radiant, and it’s suitable for all skin types.

  Method of application:

   1)Mash half a banana in a bowl.

2)Add one tablespoon of orange juice and one tablespoon of honey.

3)Apply the mask on your face. And wait 15 minutes.

  4)Rinse with cool water.

4) Moisturizing face mask with lemon

Make a homemade face mask that simultaneously exfoliates and moisturizes the skin.

  Method of application:

1)Mix the juice of 1 lemon with 1/4 cup olive or sweet almond oil.

2)Apply mask on cleansed face, leave for 10 minutes.

How often should I use a face mask in my skin care routine?

It comes down to your skin type, your individual skin needs and the type of mask you use. Some masks are best used once a week, while others can be used more often, up to 3 times a week.

However, some masks can be used several days a week. For example you can use your face mask in the morning or at night – it all depends on your schedule and personal preference.

Do Homemade Face Masks Work?

Homemade face masks do wonders for the skin. The natural ingredients used to make these masks are often better for the skin than many of the masks you can find in the store. When you put things like honey, fresh avocado, aloe vera, and more on your skin, you’re doing yourself a favor by using gentle and effective products found in nature. Always make sure to use high quality ingredients when planning to prepare homemade face masks.
